Service terms and pilot safeguards
These terms describe ListingLab's current operating baseline. The accepted quotation or, where privately offered, pilot agreement controls the exact scope, price, responsibilities and timeline for each assignment.
Free initial review
The free initial review covers one customer-facing issue using public or supplied information. You receive a short WhatsApp reply on whether a paid scope makes sense. It does not include a full audit, strategy session, account changes or a forecast of results.
If the customer journey already works well, we will say so.
Scope and approval
Only the listings, deliverables, channels and revision allowance stated in writing are included. Nothing is published or changed without client approval. New directions, extra listings and delayed source information may change the fee or completion estimate.
Client responsibilities
The client supplies accurate product facts, authorised claims, prices, policies and available performance reports. ListingLab flags missing information rather than guessing it.
Access
No-login delivery is the default. If implementation access is separately agreed, use a named and revocable sub-account with minimum permissions. Never share primary passwords, OTPs, recovery codes, payout access or staff-administration rights.
Measurement
Results are reported using stated windows and available platform data. Promotions, price, advertising, stockouts and seasonality are recorded as possible confounders. ListingLab promises the agreed work and evidence trail, not a particular uplift.
Ownership and publicity
Approved final copy transfers to the client after full payment unless the quotation says otherwise. Case-study use, name or logo use, and testimonial publication each require separate written permission.
Confidentiality and retention
Client information is used only for the agreed purpose and shared only where reasonably necessary. The agreement should state a return or deletion date. Legal, accounting or dispute records may be retained where required.
Fees and cancellation
The quotation defines deposits, milestones, due dates and cancellation treatment. Free pilot status does not create an entitlement to continuing unpaid work; any follow-on engagement requires a new written agreement.
Liability and compliance
The client remains responsible for product accuracy, regulated claims, platform compliance and the decision to publish. Any limitation of liability, governing-law or dispute term should be reviewed before paid work begins.
Your password is not part of the standard workflow.
Most work is completed from public material and client-supplied information. Direct implementation, if useful, is restricted and revocable.
See the three safe access methods
No-login delivery (default)
ListingLab reviews public listings and client-supplied product facts, screenshots or exported reports. Drafts and implementation notes are returned to the client, who publishes approved changes in their own account.
Supervised implementation
The client screenshares or remains logged in while approved changes are entered. ListingLab never receives or stores credentials, and the client confirms each material change.
Restricted sub-account
Only when direct implementation is separately authorised, the client creates a named, revocable staff/sub-account with the least permissions required. Primary passwords, OTPs, payout access and user administration remain with the client.
ListingLab access restrictions and data commitments
✓ No access to banking, payouts, wallets, tax settings or identity documents unless a separately defined task genuinely requires it.
✓ No changing passwords, recovery methods, account owners, staff permissions or security settings.
✓ No publishing, deleting, discounting, advertising, refunding, messaging customers or changing stock outside the written scope.
✓ No downloading customer-level personal data when aggregate reports or redacted exports are sufficient.
✓ No sharing client data with another party or using it for a portfolio, case study or model training without separate written permission.
✓ Access is revoked at handover; working data is returned or securely deleted according to the agreed retention date.
A pilot is offered privately, not requested as a public package
If ListingLab invites a business to take part in a pilot, the following controls are agreed before work begins.
- Named listings and excluded listings
- No-login implementation method
- Baseline source, 28-day window and control listings
- Approved facts and prohibited claims
- Go-live approval and dated change log
- Day-14 checkpoint and day-28 final report
- Retention or deletion date
- Separate permissions for case study, logo and testimonial
- Follow-on paid offer, with no automatic continuation
